In an article called “Rebuilding Man,” Chicago Health reporter Brett Dworski quotes one of Dr. Vora’s patients, Dan Chesman, who remembered how he felt after his ankle replacement surgery:

“Even before I left the hospital, I was able to stand up, and I saw at that moment it was the right thing to do,” Dan says. “It was like, ‘Wow, I can do things I haven’t been able to do in a long time,’ such as taking long walks in downtown Chicago.”

Dr. Vora is glad when patients share their post-surgery stories. He says it can help people who might be in the same boat as Dan, needlessly suffering for years because they simply don’t know how advanced surgical techniques have become and how the outcomes can be truly life-changing.
