Insertional Achilles Tendinopathy Recovery

The more extensive Achilles tendon surgeries traditionally take between eight months to one year to allow for full strength recovery and complete pain relief. Dr. Vora has helped develop and is active in studying the outcomes of a procedure called “Achilles Speedbridge” which allows for a more secure repair of the tendon to the bone and for an expedited recovery. Dr. Vora has reported outcomes of this procedure with an advanced early weight bearing protocol to allow for quicker recovery and quicker return of function.
